Handcrafts of Women from Fatih are Exhibited at Sirkeci Train Station

The “Women’s Handcraft” exhibition, featuring the handcrafts of 3,721 trainees who completed the courses organized by the KARINCA Education Unit of Fatih Municipality in cooperation with the Fatih Public Education Center, made a debut.

3,721 female trainees who received training in KARINCA courses in 47 branches in 9 training units under the Fatih Municipality Women’s Family and Education Unit crowned their graduation with a spectacular exhibition. The trainees have put up for sale the handcrafted products they made with the training they received with the aim of contributing to the family budget at the exhibition that will last until June 7th at Sirkeci Train Station. Fatih Mayor M. Ergün Turan, who opened the exhibition, visited the stands one by one with his wife İlknur Turan and examined the works.

“I COULDN’T BE MORE PROUD OF OUR SISTERS”

Mayor M. Ergün Turan, who started his speech in the program by congratulating the ladies of Fatih who decorated the splendid exhibition with their handcrafted works and products, said: “As a mayor, I can’t be more proud of our sisters for making the best use of the opportunities we offer them and turning these opportunities into an added value. Since the first day we took office, we have done everything in our power to ensure that our women participate in production in Fatih. We have carried out beneficial projects that will set in motion the entrepreneurial spirit in our women. The activities of KARINCA Education Unit are one of the most concrete indicators in this direction. I confident that you will make great contributions to the development of our Fatih with your kindness, compassion, effort and love of production. On this occasion, I would like to invite all our women who visit the exhibition and get inspired by the works presented here, to KARINCA courses.”
